For all frequent travellers we recommend our annual travel insurances. This protects you for a year on any number of trips - for example, against high cancellation costs in the event of illness or if you need medical assistance on holiday. Annual travel insurance is often worthwhile compared to single trip insurance for as few as 2 trips a year.

If you travel a lot within a year for business or pleasure, we recommend annual travel insurance. Our annual insurance policies are available in 2 variants. In both, we have bundled comprehensive insurance cover for you within one travel insurance package.
One of these is the Premium annual travel protection, which protects you against all eventualities when travelling: Within the integrated travel curtailment insurance, we will reimburse you the full trip price if you have to interrupt your trip in the first half (max. 8 days after the start of the trip) for various reasons. If, on the other hand, you curtail your holiday in the second half (from the 9th day at the latest), we will pay for your unused travel services. In addition to important international health insurance, you also benefit from accident insurance, which covers high treatment costs as a result of accidents while travelling. If your suitcase is lost during the trip, our included luggage insurance will take effect.
You want to be protected not only when you are travelling, but also if you are unable to take a trip due to unforeseen events? In this case, our annual cancellation insurance including travel protection is suitable. Compared to the Premium annual travel protection, this completes your insurance cover with an additional travel cancellation insurance that protects you against high cancellation costs.
Both annual travel insurance policies protect you for 365 days on as many trips as you like, with a maximum of 62 days per trip.
With our Premium Annual Travel Protection, as well as with our Annual Cancellation Insurance including Travel Protection, you are fully protected for one year on trips of up to 62 days. Both packages include, among other things, travel health insurance, travel accident insurance and return travel protection.
The annual travel insurance policies are not only available for individuals, but also at reduced premiums for the whole family. This includes a total of up to 7 persons (maximum of two adults and children up to the age of 25 – regardless of relationship).
Good to know: If you have to make a claim under your cancellation insurance within the annual cancellation insurance due to illness (e.g. unexpected serious illness), we will cover the cancellation costs for the entire family. This also applies in the event of pregnancy or significant damage to property.
Before a trip, something can always come up and you have to stay at home. With our Annual Cancellation & Travel Protection package, you get back the cancellation costs if you cannot take a trip for unforeseeable reasons.
You can choose between two tariff variants, the Carefree or Premium plan. As an insurer, we offer you comprehensive cancellation and travel cover with both plans. The plan you choose depends on your individual requirements and, of course, on your need for security. If you take out the Premium plan, you benefit from even more extensive annual cover due to additional insured events.
What benefits are included? In the Premium plan, you can claim under your cancellation protection in the event of travel cancellation, for example, if an existing medical condition unexpectedly worsens. The insurance cover also applies if one of your animals falls ill (dog, cat, horse) or in the event of financial damage (over € 5,000) to your property. Individual benefits are also covered by a higher sum insured. For example, your belongings as a family are insured up to € 7,000 in the Premium plan and up to € 4,000 in the Carefree plan.
