Within 3 working days after booking the trip
Each insurance contract that includes cancellation protection insurance or excess insurance must be taken out no later than the 3rd working day (Monday - Saturday) after booking the trip (booking date + 3 working days). If the insurance is taken out later, insurance cover is only available for events that occur from the 10th day after taking out the insurance ("waiting period").

With the Premium plan, you can expect no deductible costs. In our Carefree plan, a deductible of 20% applies to medical expenses abroad without submission to the private/social insurance.

We will pay the cancellation costs or the additional costs if the trip is not completed as planned for all persons, provided that one person has an insured event and all persons have booked their trip together. Yes, the group rate covers at least ten pupils/young people up to the age of 30, plus accompanying supervisors among themselves. The age limit does not apply to accompanying persons.
We recommend class trip insurance for young people to anyone organising a school, club or association trip with a group of people under 30. Especially at a young age, life circumstances change quickly and a longer planned trip may not be able to be taken. That is why we offer a travel cancellation insurance for school trips specially tailored for young people. This cancellation protection for class trips covers all contractual cancellation costs – because it would be a shame if the group budget were to be financially burdened by the loss of participants.
For example, 22 additional reasons for cancellation are included in the travel cancellation insurance for school trips.
The Premium club & class travel protection is also more comprehensive during the trip. For example, there is no reimbursement limit in the case of inpatient stays.
Things can sometimes get a little wild on a group tour. With our class trip insurance including cancellation & travel protection, pupils and students are also protected in the best possible way during the trip. In addition to travel health insurance and travel accident insurance, numerous other benefits are included. For example, have you ever heard of delay protection? In such an instance, in the event of a delay affecting public transport by more than two hours, the travel costs as well as the additional accommodation and home travel costs will be reimbursed. Of course, all insurance benefits also apply to accompanying teachers.
